We work closely with leading Canadian insurers and have access to their latest commercial insurance plans. I already have a policy through a broker, and I’m pretty happy. Why would I change?

If you’ve found a business insurance policy that’s working for you, stick with it. But be aware that problems like improper programming, policy deficiencies and harmful exclusions can pop up at the time of a claim, and by that point, you’re paying the price for them. Our investors loved asking that question. Boardwalk is an insurtech company, with our roots deeply ingrained in insurance. Our founders are directly from the insurance market and have extensive commercial insurance coverage knowledge and experience. Technology is our tool to help deliver superior customer service experiences and change how business owners manage their plans and protect their lives’ work.

Our head office is just north of Toronto, Ontario, but we operate and write business across Canada. 

We are licensed in the following provinces: Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, Manitoba, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, Newfoundland and New Brunswick.

I have a claim. Who do I call?

We’re resisting the urge to say “ghostbusters,” right now. 

With any insurance policy, claims typically go through your insurer, which means that most policies will have a toll-free number on them to call. You can usually find this number on the first or second page of your policy documents. But if you want us to get the ball rolling for you, we also have an internal claims department that can be reached by phone, email or by completing our claims intake form.
